30 Days Meme [2/30]

Day 01 | Your favourite song
Day 02 | Your favourite movie
Like yesterday, it's really hard for me to pick a favorite movie, since I've seen so many that I've really enjoyed and have had a strong impact on me. I wish I could talk about all of them to some extent, but I'm not feeling all that great and it'd probably be boring anyway. So as hard as it was, I've narrowed it down to three. I'm not going to give a lot of commentary, just because I suck at gushing over things I like. XD
Crimes and Misdemeanors (I know, I know, it's a Woody Allen movie, and his support of Roman Polanski means I most likely won't be giving any money to him anytime soon, but he still makes good movies, and this is one of his best):
The Lives of Others (not so depressing, thankfully):
Paprika (awesome crazy cool funtimes, and because one of them had to be an anime):
( Upcoming days... )

As of today, I am done with class!!!! 8DDDDDDDDDDDDDDD I'm very much relieved! The presentation went swimmingly, despite my general suckitude when it comes to public speaking. I still have class until Thursday (I have to evaluate everyone else's presentations and fill out class evaluations, as well as get my exam back *gulp*), and there's still the radio show (my last one!), the Japanese review session, and yoga tomorrow as well. But in terms of having actual responsibilities, until the second week of February, I am DONE. :D
.......Of course, this means now I have GIS to look forward to. GIS is the trial of fire for environmental studies students; it's basically learning how to use a computer program, but this class is notorious for a.) being a TON of work, and b.) problematic because it's so hard to get the program to do what you want it to do. Many an apocryphal tale has been told of students crying in front of their terminals -- so yes, dear f-list, I have much to look forward to. :P This means that from mid-February to mid-May, I will probably either a.) be away from LJ a lot because I have so much work, or b.) be on LJ more to avoid said work as much as possible (knowing me, it will probably be the latter 8D;). Wish me luck, and if it turns out I don't survive, well, it was certainly nice knowing you. ;-)
And on top of that, I'm starting to have a sore throat, which is certainly a first sign for yet another cold. -_- The crazy weather (warm and rainy and windy today, only to get colder again tomorrow) and the fact that I stayed up Friday night until 5 AM trying to begin to put stuff together for today's presentation certainly didn't help matters. Just when break has (unoffically) started for me. >_> Speaking of which, it still hasn't fully sunk in yet, and I don't know what to do with myself. Other than the stuff I already mentioned, I'll probably be bumming around the dorm room/campus until my dad comes to pick me up Saturday morning. So that's that, for now. ^_^;
I'll try to catch up on entries and comments tonight. ;-)
