I've been meaning to do this for a while, so here goes. First one's from
childings:
• Post ten of any pictures currently on your hard drive that you think are self-expressive.
• No captions. It must be like we're speaking with images and we have to interpret your visual language just like we have to interpret your words.
• They must ALREADY be on your hard drive - no googling or flickr! They have to have been saved to your folders sometime in the past. They must be something you've saved there because it resonated with you for some reason.
• You do NOT have to answer any questions about any of your pictures if you don't want to. You can make them as mysterious as you like. Or you can explain them away as much as you like.
I really don't have a lot of pictures saved up (I actually only got in the habit of it recently), so I'd be hard-pressed to call these "self-expressive" or whatnot. I'm sure most of you have probably seen at least some of these at some point or another anyway.

First: If you've been tagged, you must write your answers in your own LJ. Replace any question that you dislike with a new, original question.
Second: Tag eight people. Don't refuse to do it. Don't tag who tagged you.
1. Lots of pillows or just one?
Just one -- sometimes two if I'm sick.
2. What kind of books do you read?
Non-fiction, non-genre fiction, graphic novels
3. What are your most awesome skills?
Languages, finding things on the Internet, and getting good grades in college. :P
4. What's your occupation?
Unemployed college student. :/
5. What's really creepy?
Vore, lobotomies, people in Norwegian black metal bands, the far right, the "pick-up artist" community, stalking, and Alan Moore, to name but a few.
6. What's the last thing you ate?
Oreos and kettle corn.
7. What's been making you smile lately?
...Not much, to be honest. :(
8. What websites do you always visit when you go online?
LJ, Gmail, Facebook, YouTube, Songza, Pitchfork.com
9. What was the last thing you bought?
A book (Lies My Teacher Told Me by James W. Loewen) and two CDs (Spoon's Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga and Moby's Wait For Me).
10. What's the cutest thing you've seen today?
Banker Cat.
11. Do you get cravings? If so, what do you crave?
Not really.
12. Who would you go gay/straight for?
...I can't really think of anyone right now (I don't get physically attracted to anyone most of the time).
13. What is your zodiac sign?
Gemini (not like it matters).
14. Do you want to learn another language?
Do I have to pick just one? XD
15. Can you do any accents? If so, which?
Not very well.
16. Favorite place you've ever been?
Tie between Rome, Italy, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC.
17. Shoes or barefoot?
Barefoot in my own house, shoes everywhere else.
18. Say something to the person who tagged you.
Hi!! *waves*
19. What are you reading right now?
Sadly, nothing right now. :(
20. What do you love right now?
Spending inordiante amounts of time online, and not having to worry about schoolwork for a couple more weeks. :D
21. Who is your celebrity crush?
I don't have celebrity crushes, though I always did have an appreciation for William H. Macy.
22. What are you going to do next year?
Studying at college, actually being more active (physically and otherwise), maybe even getting a good job or (paid) internship for the summer (unless I decide to do Language School).
23. Does the weather affect your mood?
No.
24. What song is in your head right now? If the answer is none, what's the last song you had in your head?
A few: "Juno" by Tokyo Police Club, "No No Keshagesh" and "Starwalker" by Buffy Sainte-Marie, "Looking For Astronauts" by The National, and "Heads Will Roll" by Yeah Yeah Yeahs, primarily -- I don't know why most of them are even in my head in the first place. ^_^;;
And two from the Internet at large:
I really don't know how this even applies to me; this feels more like the cocktail of a goddamned superhero. O_o
And finally, in case anyone's interested:
