super-illin' like a supervillain
Jan. 31st, 2010 04:33 pmJust a quick "Don't worry guys, I'm not dead yet!" kind of post.
I'm slowly starting to feel better -- much more awake, and no fever or sore throat, at least. Countless bottles of water and throat lozenges and three shots of Nyquil will do that to you. ;-) The only thing I have right now is a stubborn cough, which is keeping me really tired is the kind of thing that tends to linger for at least a week, if not longer. :/ So a lot of things I wanted to do with this LJ this week have been put on hold -- just know that I have been reading my f-list and I'm caught up, though I won't get around to commenting until much later.
I did manage to read Syrup by Max Barry, though, and now I'm looking at this stack of books wondering what to read next. I'm thinking something short so I can read it quickly, but except for the manga/comics none of them look like "light" reading. Oh well, I'll make do, and I plan on reviewing Syrup and anything else I end up reading sometime later on.
In the meantime, here's this meme that's been going around, which I think suits me well, surprisingly enough:
