The start of J-term has been going pretty well so far!  It's still really hard to get myself moving when I absolutely need to -- getting up earlier (though I have been doing this to a certain extent), taking care of myself, taking shorter showers, reading faster, etc.  But I have made a decent start, and change tends to come slowly anyway.  I'll certainly live with it.  XD[Poll #1507899]

If your answer can't fit in the text box, feel free to leave a comment.

And another question: this movieverse Scorponok is the first TF toy I have in my possession.  Yeah, I know, I'm a bad fan, whatever.  XD  But the main reason I'm so averse to buying the toys for myself is because I don't know what the hell I'd do with them.  So tell me, members of my f-list who are into this sort of thing: What do you do with your Transformers?  Do they just sit around and collect dust?  Do you play with them as if you were five years old?  Do you pose them and take pictures with them?  Are they the minions with which you will take over the world someday?  What?  Of course you don't have to answer this question or the poll above; I'm just genuinely curious!  ^_^;

Before I forget, I think there's something this coming Sunday that y'all ought to hear.  Two of my friends do a weekly radio show discussing the weather and climate, and their climate change skepticism comes up often (don't worry, they're both total climatology nerds who know what they're talking about, and they're not batshit insane about it like other "skeptics").  Well, this Sunday the 10th, bestselling author, scholar-in-residence, and 350.org founder Bill McKibben will be on the show!  He'll be discussing the science of climate change, and defending his position against two smart dissenters who are also very knowledgeable on the subject -- who knows what will happen?  I'm very excited for my friends for getting such a wonderful opportunity, and it would be awesome to show your support and listen in.  The show, "The Jet Stream," will be on this Sunday from 4-5 PM Eastern, 3-4 PM Central, 2-3 PM Mountain, 1-2 PM Pacific, 6-7 PM Chilean time, 9-10 PM GMT, and 10-11 PM Central European Time; you can listen in here.  (This should cover pretty much everyone on my f-list.  ^_^;)  I'll remind everyone again as the day comes closer.

I should be going to bed soon, but I have comments I need to leave.  ;-)
