SYMPOSIUM, PART 1 (and other stuff)

So after months of hard work and preparation (much of which admittedly didn't come from me, LOL XD), and after an impromptu meeting on Wednesday for last-minute organizing, we finally began our symposium on Thursday! It's really exciting to see all of this in action, and if what happened on Thursday is any indication, it's going to be a smashing success.

Our first guest was Bobby Gonzalez, a nationally-known poet, storyteller, and motivational speaker from the South Bronx who often deals with his Hispanic (Puerto Rican) and Native American (Taino) heritage.

So today I got up around 2 PM (therefore missing breakfast), went to anime club (they couldn't show Baccano! and Eden of the East due to technical difficulties, but since I have some fansubs myself I'll just catch up tonight or tomorrow), and saw Synecdoche, New York (pretty good, if VERY depressing), and spent much of the rest of my time either writing this, daydreaming, or otherwise online. This "no-fun" weekend is not looking good so far. -_-;

Okay, it's 3 AM now, and it's taken me way too long to write this. So, to bed. I guess. ^_^;;
