Wacked up

• I have the strangest dreams sometimes. Like last night, I dreamt about reading a comic very similar in style to Medium Large, only it seems to be about anthropomorphized animals surreptitiously helping a kid in school (high school, probably) -- who never speaks throughout the course of the comic -- with history exams and such. Except these anthropomorphized animals are countries. Like Hetalia with animals. And apparently Estonia's a snake. A snake who is very sunny and affable, against what you'd expect an anthropomorphized snake to be like, somewhat like Death in those Terry Pratchet novels (and this is coming from someone who's never read Terry Pratchet, so take that however you will). And Latvia was involved too, thought I don't know what animal s/he was. I think Estonia featured so prominently because I saw a piece of Estonia-chillin'-in-the-pool fanart over at Y!Gallery last night. This is about all the sense I could make from it. My dreams don't even have dream logic. :/
• Holy shit, two people called in to my radio show today! This almost never happens, so this kind of thing gets me really excited. And one of them was a request (for Efterklang). The last time I got a request was last year during the spring semester; someone asked for The Smiths, which is not the genre of music I play for the show (experimental, "post-rock" even though I hate that term, shoegaze, Krautrock, IDM, electronica, etc.), but I obliged him at the end. I think that guy was the current acting provost of the college, who has his own music show Friday afternoons as well. O_o And then one of the people on the exec board called in, telling me she liked what she was hearing. Yay, I have listeners now! It may seem selfish, but it really is a great feeling. :D
• Even though it's raining over here, it's currently 51°F here, which is unusually warm for February. But then tomorrow it's supposed to go back down into the 30s. Oh, Vermont. :/
• Here's a video for the weekend. After this week, I thought a little chixploitation was in order. (Well, it was either that or the Roots of Breakdance.)

WTF?

scans_daily got suspended?  How?  Does anyone know what happened?
