I've done the utterly-regrettable job change due to over-excitement, so ooooof, I get you on that. (Mine lasted about seven months, at least five of which were daily hell.)
After last year, it's suddenly weird to read about company gatherings and whatnot, even if they were years in the past. 2020 has a lot to answer for.
Good to see you again, btw. I'm basically the same in sames-ville. Same job, which has made it through some of the last year by having a customer who has Homeland Security as a customer (none of us knew that until we got papers to be on the road and come in to work every night during lockdown), slowly fixing up my place, that's about it. ^_^;
