Pointless post

quadruplifyGood news #1: All my essays are done! :D
Bad news #1: I handed in (through e-mail) my last essay 15 minutes later than I should have. I can't imagine this being too much of a big deal, but little ol' perfectionist me is freaking out.
Bad news #2: I still have two exams to go. The Japanese one tomorrow should go well, the geology one on Friday...well, I'll have to study more for that. If I don't post anything between now and Friday afternoon, this is why.
Good news #2: Over the past few weeks Voices of Indigenous Peoples, an indigenous interest and awareness group of which I am their acting vice-president, put together a proposal for next fall's student-run symposium. I didn't do much work for this other than wrangling the one history professor I knew who studies Native Americans to speak, but it looks like our proposal has been selected to be the symposium for next fall, pending a meeting with some committee. I haven't heard anything about this meeting other than it's either tomorrow or Thursday, so I really hope this works out. Anyway, this is still very exciting! XD
Good news #3: I will definitely be going back home on Saturday! I might not be able to be back online until later this weekend or early next week, however, because my family just got a wireless network installed at home, and we'll see how we easily can get my MacBook on the network so that I can access the Internet in my room rather than having to go upstairs to use the only computer in the house. But of course, that's not important so much as going back home! Can't wait.
